about soln
A considered approach to caring for homes
Soln exists to care for homes with intention. Not based on size, price point, or nightly rate—but on how a space feels, functions, and sits with its natural surroundings.
Rooted in the high desert, our approach is shaped by place, pace, and the belief that thoughtful spaces create better experiences—for guests and for the people who own them. Intentional care isn’t about excess. It’s about clarity, restraint, and attention to what actually matters

Intentional spaces, not interchangeable houses
Soln isn’t interested in filling rooms or chasing trends. We focus on homes that feel considered—spaces where choices are made deliberately, not just to check boxes or keep up appearances.
An intentional space doesn’t need to be large or expensive. It needs to feel cohesive. Calm. Easy to be in. That comes from care, not square footage.
We work with homes that value:
Thoughtful layouts over crowded rooms
Comfort over decoration
Durability over disposable fixes
A sense of ease rather than visual noise
The result is a home that feels settled, not staged.
Homes are places, not inventory
Many short-term rentals are treated as products—assembled quickly, filled cheaply, and maintained just enough to get by. Soln takes a different view.
Homes are lived spaces. They deserve care that’s consistent, proactive, and grounded in respect for how people actually move through them. That means noticing details, addressing issues early, and resisting the urge to overfill or overdo.
Our role is stewardship. The quiet work of keeping a home functioning well, feeling intentional, and holding its integrity over time.
Built on partnership, not transactions
Soln works in close partnership with owners who share our standards. We believe the best outcomes come from alignment—shared expectations, open communication, and long-term thinking.
Owners remain involved in direction and decision-making without being pulled into day-to-day operations. That balance allows us to act thoughtfully while staying true to the owner’s goals and the home’s character.
Shaped by the high desert
The desert isn’t just a setting—it’s an operating reality. Light, heat, dust, wind, and seasonal rhythms all shape how a home should be cared for.
Our approach is grounded in firsthand experience in the Joshua Tree area and beyond, including the design, renovation, and successful launch of our own short-term rental. That lived experience informs how we care for every home we take on—practically, not theoretically.
Environment and care
The high desert may appear expansive, but it functions delicately. Water, energy, land, and infrastructure all require thoughtful use to remain in balance.
Soln approaches care with restraint. Day-to-day decisions are made with awareness of impact, longevity, and responsibility—not perfection, but consistency.
Sustainability isn’t about getting everything right. It’s about making better choices over time, reducing what doesn’t serve, and caring for both homes and environment with intention.
Technology, thoughtfully applied
Soln uses technology behind the scenes to support clarity, consistency, and ease. Systems help us manage communication, maintenance, scheduling, and oversight—so nothing falls through the cracks.
What remains constant is the human presence behind the process. Homes are overseen, not automated. Details are noticed. Decisions are made with context, not just tools.
Technology allows us to work efficiently so we can stay personally invested where it matters most.
Quietly selective by design
Soln is intentionally small. We work with a limited number of homes so care never becomes diluted and standards never slip.
Selectivity isn’t about exclusivity. It’s about alignment—shared values, thoughtful spaces, and a mutual commitment to care over time.
An invitation, not a pitch
Soln is for owners who care about how their home feels—not just how it performs. If you value intention, clarity, and long-term stewardship, we welcome a conversation.
